Getting Stronger.....Mentally & Physically!

Today, I had my weekly "hardcore" workout with Tonya. I got up and ran 4 miles this morning and then met her at 1:30 in the afternoon. Yes, it was hot (NOT dangerously hot as we would not have done the workout) but I was drained and exhausted quicker. My workout was easier than day 1, but it was still very, very tough! I know I've made lots of progress but still have a long way to go. What I do know is that I am stronger, more confident and deal with my emotions and stress differently. As many of you know I am training to run a half marathon August 14th. On sunday I will run 9 miles as part of my training - Are any of you planning to run in August or run the one on 10.10.10? I hope some of you who are thinking of doing it, will do it! If I can do this, really, anyone can! Anyone who is ready to CONSISTENTLY commit to the HARD WORK that it takes!

Just getting caught up on your blogs! Are you running the 1/2 that's in Marion, KS? I plan to do that one - sounded fun!
Yes, I'm doing the one in Marion. Great to know of someone who is going. Have you ran any half or full marathons before?
